Englefield Concert Review
Two Romans, a beautiful medieval peasant, an outrageously magnificent Elizabethan and a cheeky Victorian welcomed almost 200 guests with appropriate nibbles and fizz to an evening of inspired music through the ages. The Long Gallery was a splendid setting and each chair held an egg box full of food which was eaten during the concert as each time period was discussed. From chanting to a moon landing with music composed by the audience it was an hour of excellent music, informative discussion and entertainment culminating in raising over £1700 for Thrive and 5 a Day charities.
Thank you to all who took part and generously donated.
