ENHARMONIC (now taking a break!)

Enharmonic is our choir based in Bucklebury, Berkshire which began in early 2010.

We sing a mix of both modern and Classical pieces as well as new compositions. For information on our latest concerts please visit the news page.

Run by Daniel and Sandra Nicholls we meet on a Wednesday evening and have a membership of around 50 (aged 14 – 80ish!). We have sung in many concerts both at home and abroad including the Holywell Music Room, Belgium and Mallorca and have been broadcast live by the BBC on the Royal Wedding Day!

Much of our music is composed by Daniel, including ‘A Song for Kate (and William)’ but of course we embrace all musical styles and are happy to sing Mozart or Queen as long as it is well written.

Sadly we have decided to take a break from the choir!  We will still put together choirs for weddings and other occasions but will no longer meet regularly!

For 12 wonderful years on Wednesday evenings, we have gathered with musical friends and sung, eaten and laughed together! December 11th “Messiah and More in an Hour” was our final performance.

St. Mary’s Church, Bucklebury was full to bursting with audience standing and some even sitting behind the choir as there was nowhere else to go! We had lots of food and mulled wine and the atmosphere was amazing!

We would like to thank everyone who came along and especially Bradfield Primary School who joined us (along with many other young people who wanted to sing) for our final “Hallelujah”.  It was the most wonderful evening and one to cherish and the collection for the church raised £685.             A fantastic sum and a fantastic end!
