In this course you will learn how to compose!

​

The day starts by learning all the devices used by composers. This also helps with appraisal and analysis and makes you to better able to understand the music that you are playing or listening to.

​

Having decided on instrumentation and form you will then use Sibelius software to create your composition according to the exam brief. Most importantly you will be taught how to employ composition devices to achieve the highest possible mark in your exam.

Everything is provided and you will eat a good lunch as well as numerous snacks!
